Pegasus
Beautiful white-winged Pegasus rises from the blood of Medusa, the gorgon with snake hair. After Athena tamed Pegasus, she gave him to the Muses and for a while, he served the poets. Later, he aided Bellerophon in fighting the Amazons and Chimera. Not being immortal, Pegasus, at the last day of his life, was turned into a constellation by Zeus. Now all winged horses are called Pegasi.
